Charlene Pettus Jones, 71, of Fairlawn, passed away at her home Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026. Born May 18, 1955, she was preceded in death by her brother, King “Junie” Harvey, III.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Darryl Jones, Jr. (Jessica); grandchildren, Darryl and Nevaeh; mother, Shirley Agnes Harvey; brother, Jeff Harvey; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marcindy Harris (Kevin) and Teresa Blake (William); uncle, Van Pettus; former husband, Darryl Jones, Sr.; and many other relatives and special friends.
The family will receive friends 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2026, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Rev. Monte Brown officiating. Burial will follow in New River Cemetery in New River.
The Jones family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
