CHRISTIANSBURG – Montgomery County Friends of Animal Care and Control (MCFACC) is hosting a bingo night to raise funds for animals in need.
Carol Trutt, president of MCFACC, announced the non-profit organization will hold its first Bingo Fundraiser at Iron Tree Brewing with Cabo Fish Tacos food truck, on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 6-9 p.m.
Admission is $10 and tickets can be purchased at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center, 480 Cinnabar Rd., Christiansburg, online at www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/mcfacc-bingo-night-at-iron-tree-brewery, or by scanning the QR code with this article. Gift card prizes range from $15-$50.
MCFACC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center and the Montgomery County community.
“We have a spay/neuter voucher program for low-income residents of Montgomery County,” said Trutt. “We pay for microchips for every dog at the center as well as Lola’s New Leash on Life Dog training program for dogs at the shelter so they can be adopted, for dogs who have been adopted where they need some training and also dogs who are on the waitlist to be surrendered to the shelter due to behavioral issues. We sponsor all senior animals at the shelter so there is no cost to the adoptees.”
“We cannot do any of this without fundraising and generous donations,” she continued. “Seth at Iron Tree has been wonderful to us over the past years and we are grateful for his support.”
