Glenvar continued its winning streak 27-3 Friday night over Radford in the Region 2C semi-finals.

Radford’s only score came on a 26-yard field goal by Louis Webster.

Peyton Dobbins passed 21 of 34 for 198 yards but was picked off four times by the Glenvar defense. His Glenvar counterpart, Brody Dawyot, returned from an injury and was 14 of 18 for 163 yards with three touchdowns. Dawyot also picked up another score on the ground and recorded an interception in the game.

Glenvar is now 12-0 and will play Gretna in the regional championship.

Radford’s Trenton Carter had six catches for 60 yards, and Pace Prioleau tallied seven receptions for 45 yards.

In other area games, George Wythe downed Giles 27-8 and will have a rematch with Grayson County for the Region 1C tilt. Grayson beat Craig 34-13. Magna Vista hammered Carroll County in a 64-28 Region 3D semifinal.
