The honors keep coming in for Craig Huxtable, a graduating soccer player from Blacksburg High School.
The Roanoke College commit capped his high school career with a state championship, and Friday as the Virginia State High School Boys Soccer Player of the Year and a Boys High School All-American.
These honors are among players in all classifications from both private and public high schools.
Huxtable was the River Ridge District Player of the Year (repeat selection), Region 4D Player of the Year, and Class 4 State Player of the Year. He is a First Team repeat selection for All-District (third year), All-Region (third year), and All-State (second year).
He was also named the all-county, all-city boys’ soccer player of the year.
In 2026, Craig scored 31 goals and had nine assists from his central midfield position and completed his career with 72 goals and 35 assists. He captained Blacksburg to the State Championship, a 24-0 record, and the MaxPreps Spring #1 National Ranking.
