Terry Ray Smith, age 51, of Blacksburg passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Radford on Sept. 7, 1965 and was preceded in death by his father Paris Elliott Smith; sister, Linda Surface; and three uncles, Radford Price, Howard Price and Jackie Price.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Janie Smith, of Blacksburg; Sydney Smith, of Christiansburg; son, David Burton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paris “Buster” and Patricia “Pat” Smith, of Christiansburg, Jimmy and Sherry Smith, of Covington, Wayne and Amy Smith, of Statesboro, Georgia; uncle William Price and wife Rebecca, aunt, Marian P. Moore; special friend and caretaker, Terena Epperly, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016 at 3 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary McCoy and Rev. Bobby Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery.
