Dollie C. Nolen, age 77, of Pearisburg joined her Lord on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Jonesville, Virginia on May 17, 1940 to the late William E. and Mary Price Carroll. She is survived by her husband, Alvin Nolen; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Jamie Wright, Lisa and Jeff Jones; stepdaughter, Betty Trail; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Gene McPherson; grandchildren, Daniel Wright and wife, Melia, Jacob Wright; great-grandchild, Barrett Wright; special friends, Gary and Debbie Poff, and church family.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Poff officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. Blacksburg, VA.
