Dwight “Kreg” Kregloe, 75, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gail Kregloe, his son, Frank, and his wife, Laura, his daughter, Karman, and her wife, Bridget McManus, and his sisters, Carol Ann Pennington and Fran Leneham. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Tipton.
Kreg was an alumnus of Virginia Tech, a dedicated Hokies fan, and enjoyed spending time with his friends at weekly Virginia Tech Sports Club meetings. In his youth, he was an avid outdoorsman and liked gardening and metal detecting for Civil War artifacts.
There will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Montgomery County: HSMC, PO Box 287, Blacksburg, VA 24063.
