Lisa Rayne was promoted to the position of Montgomery County’s finance director on April l.
Since November of 2020, she has served as the interim financial services director. Prior to that, she held the position of assistant finance director for the county.
Before joining Montgomery County in 2014, Lisa held the position of controller at Virginia Tech Services, Inc. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 1991 with a degree in accounting. She has over 29 years accounting and finance experience and is a certified public accountant.
“We are very pleased to welcome Lisa into her new role,” said Angie Hill, Montgomery County’s assistant county administrator and chief financial officer. “During her seven-year tenure with the county, Lisa’s vast knowledge, dedicated work ethic and positive attitude have made a tremendous impact.”
The county will conduct a search for an assistant finance director.
