The Virginia Tech women’s basketball team will travel to Madison, Wis., to take on the Wisconsin Badgers in the 2021 Big Ten/ACC Women’s Basketball Challenge on Dec.1 the ACC announced Tuesday.
Tip time and television network designation will be announced at a later date.
One of the most successful teams in the challenge in recent years, VT is one of two teams in either conference boasting a five-game winning streak in the competition. Head Coach Kenny Brooks has an undefeated record at 4-0 in the challenge since taking over the program in 2016 with wins against Nebraska, Illinois, Rutgers, and Purdue by an average margin of 21.3 points.
The Lady Hokies previously matched up with Wisconsin in the 2008 Challenge losing 61-52 and again in 2012 winning 47-38.
Overall, Tech owns a 7-6 record in the challenge since making its first appearance in the competition in 2007.

Nebraska at Wake Forest, Ohio State at Syracuse, Georgia Tech at Purdue. Virginia Tech at Wisconsin, North Carolina at Minnesota, Rutgers at Pitt.
Thursday, Dec. 2:
Iowa at Duke, Florida State at Illinois, NC State at Indiana, Miami at Maryland, Michigan at Louisville, Notre Dame at Michigan State, Northwestern at Clemson, Penn State at Boston College.
