Alpha Mu Master Chapter of Christiansburg’s Beta Sigma Phi Sorority kicked off the current sorority year recently with a Beginning Day Dinner, hosted by Chapter President Phyllis Durham, at Selah Springs Farm. The meal was catered by Brian Grove. The sorority’s international theme for the year is “Friendship at Your Fingertips.”
Following dinner, Durham gave a brief history of Selah Springs, a farm venue used for weddings, events, and facility rentals. Bluegrass and gospel concerts are also held on the Selah Springs Back Porch, and the farm offers grass-fed beef, wool, and local honey for sale.
Selah Springs is owned and operated by Don and Linda Robinson at 3320 Nolley Road in Riner.
Plans for the upcoming year were presented by the respective committee chairs, followed by distribution of yearbooks by Vice President Sue Warden.
