NRCC announces 2023 graduation ceremony dates

New River Community College will celebrate its 53rd annual commencement on Friday, May 12 on the college’s campus in Dublin in 117 Edward Hall.  

Students who graduate this year will have completed more than 900 degrees, certificates and diplomas in 77 different programs, with many graduates receiving multiple awards. 

Students in the division of arts and sciences for the 2022-2023 academic year will be honored on Friday, May 12 at 4 p.m.  Doors open at 3 p.m.

Students in the division of business and technologies for the 2022-2023 academic year will be honored later that evening at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Associate degree nursing students will graduate on Monday, May 15 at 6 p.m. in 117 Edwards Hall.  Doors open at 5 p.m.

Nearly 300 students plan to participate in person in the three ceremonies.  

Graduation ceremonies will be livestreamed for family, friends, and others to view off-campus.  To view the ceremonies online, visit NRCC’s graduation webpage at www.nr.edu/graduation.
