Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on July 13, 2023 at 1:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the conference room of the Montgomery Regional
Solid Waste Authority Recycling Facility, 555 Authority Drive, Christiansburg, Virginia 24073 concerning a proposal received by the Montgomery Regional Solid Waste Authority (the
“Authority”) from Sun Tribe Solar that contained sufficient information for meaningful evaluation
regarding for the design, development, construction, management and operation of one or more solar
photovoltaic systems at Authority facilities (the “Project”).
The Authority requested proposals for the Project under the provisions of the Virginia Public- Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002 (“PPEA”) and this public hearing is being
held by the Authority to comply with the requirement of the PPEA that it hold a public hearing on
any proposal being considered during the conceptual stage proposal review process. All
interested persons will be given an opportunity to speak at the public hearing.
