The Blacksburg Jewish Community Center hosted a Chanukah family program Dec. 18.

Attendees enjoyed latkas, a trivia game and a play. Pictured are the nine candles that acted in the Chanuka play. Thank you to all that participated in this fun, educational, and sometimes silly event.

The Blacksburg Jewish Community Center’s (BJCC) next family activity is geared for the youngest BJCC members and friends, although anyone is welcome to attend.

On Jan. 7 from 5-5:30 p.m., they will have a Tot Shabbat Havdalah service. The service will include making a Shabbat buddy, listening to a story, sing a few songs, and saying the Havdalah prayers.
