Blacksburg’s girls’ soccer team placed six players and Christiansburg two on the 3A West team announced Monday.
Hannah Elias of Blacksburg was named to the first team as a defender, while three Lady Bruins were named to the second team including Sarah Linkenhoker, Ashlen Burch and Kyria Williams.
Christiansburg’s Morgan Mullens was also named to second team All-Region 3A West girls’ soccer squad.
The honorable mention team included: Abby Duff of Christiansburg, and Skyler Prosser and Meghan Shelton, both from Blacksburg.
The player of the year for 3A West was Jane Romness of Western Albemarle. Jake Desch of Western Albemarle was named coach of the year.
