News Messenger contributing writer and Christiansburg resident Lisa Bass recently took a photo of a train crossing while walking on the Christiansburg portion of the huckleberry Trail. “I thought it might be a good reminder to trail users of the two active train crossings in Christiansburg. This crossing is behind Home Depot and the other crossing is behind the New River Valley Mall,” Bass said.
