Each Saturday the paper features a dog and a cat from the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center (480 Cinnabar Road, Christiansburg).
This young cat returned to the Animal Care and Adoption Center after being with a foster, where she was able to take care of her own kittens as well as a few others who needed some nurturing. She is a sweet and loving calico weighing about 9 lbs. Cinderella, 1, doesn’t require a Prince Charming but we’d love for her to have a fairy tale ending in a furever home.Rosie, 6, came to Animal Care and Adoption Center in January. Since that time, she has shown how great she is walking on a leash and how much she loves treats (she sometimes tosses her head back to encourage humans to pass them her way!) This Boxer-Labrador Retriever mix is a sweet gal who would do best as the only pet in the home. Stop by if you’re interested in meeting her. Her adoption fee is $25.
