The 5th annual Huckleberry Jam race dashes the length of the Huckleberry Trail from Blacksburg to Christiansburg on May 11. Runners meet at RunAbout Sports shop (1470 South Main St) at 9 a.m. then walk over to the Huck to the start at the Country Club Road trail access.
Part of the RunAbout Race Series, The Jam is an 8-mile point-to-point that uses the entire length of the Huckleberry Trail finishing at the Christiansburg Rec Center.
Two aid stations, energy gels, water, and Gatorade will be supplied along the way and two shuttles will be available to transport runners back to RunAbout Sports at the end.
