ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (EDA) The EDA’s role is to work with our Department of Economic Development to carry out the Board of Supervisors’ vision and policies for economic development in Montgomery County. This includes business retention and expansion, business attraction and marketing, entrepreneurial development, workforce development, commercial real estate development and resuse, and communications and outreach. Appointment is for four (4) years. There is one (1) vacancy on the EDA, to fill an unexpired term ending on March 28, 2020. Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday each month at 11:30 a.m. at the Montgomery County Government Center. This is an at-large appointment.
