(Left to right) Kiwanians Gene Cliff, John Ficenec, Stephen Boyle, and Sue Bentley were among the workers from the Montgomery County-Blacksburg Kiwanis Club who operated the concession stand at the Area 9 Southwest Virginia Special Olympics on Sunday, Feb. 5, at the basketball tournament at Cassell Coliseum. All proceeds from the sales were donated to Special Olympics. The Kiwanis Club also donated a $100 check in memory of Joanne Jones. The Kiwanians worked in teams for two-hour shifts.
