ORDER OF PUBLICATION
The object of this cause is to obtain an adoption of the minor child, Serita Danielle McLemore, by your petitioners, Mildred Anne Tickle and Fred Lee Tickle, Jr., husband and wife.
An affidavit having been made and filed, pursuant to Virginia Code §8.01-316(1950), as amended, showing that the biological father, Kenneth McLemore (aka Kenneth Sturdivant), despite the exercise of due diligence on behalf of Petitioners, could not be personally served with legal process for this action and his last known address is unknown, though he is known to be residing in and around the Montgomery County, Virginia area.
It is therefore ORDERED that Respondent Kenneth McLemore, appear at this Court on or before January 12, 2024 at 1:00 pm before the Montgomery County Circuit Court and do what is necessary to protect his interest thereby.
And, it is further ORDERED that this Order shall be published once a week for four (4) successive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation, serving the area of Montgomery County, Virginia, the locality of father’s last known whereabouts, and contemporaneously posted in a conspicuous location at the Montgomery County Courthouse.
