NRCC announces 2024 graduation ceremony dates

DUBLIN – New River Community College will celebrate its 54th annual commencement Friday, May 10 and Monday, May 13 on the college’s campus in Dublin in 117 Edward Hall.  

Students who graduate this year will have completed more than 1,000 degrees, certificates and diplomas in 82 different programs, with many graduates receiving multiple awards. 

Students in the Division of Business and Technologies for the 2023-2024 academic year will be honored on Friday, May 10 at 4 p.m.  Doors open at 3 p.m.

Students in the Division of Arts and Sciences for the 2023-2024 academic year will be honored later that evening at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Division of Health Professions students will graduate on Monday, May 13 at 6 p.m. in 117 Edwards Hall.  Doors open at 5 p.m.  A pinning ceremony for associate degree nursing graduates will be held at 7:30 p.m. following graduation. 

More than 300 students plan to participate in person in the three graduation events. 

Graduation ceremonies will be livestreamed for family, friends, and others to view off-campus.  To view the ceremonies online, visit NRCC’s graduation webpage at www.nr.edu/graduation.
