Charleen Little, 74, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, May 19, 2024.
She was born in Soddy-Daisy, Tenn. on November 19, 1949, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Emma Jernigan. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jeannette Broom.
She enjoyed her vocation as a tax accountant and her many years at Altice Tax. She was also a longtime volunteer at Floyd County Public Schools and an avid member of the PTA.
She is survived by her husband, John Little; daughter, Katherine Barkley (Jeff Caldwell); grandchildren, James Barkley, Daniel Barkley, Chelesa Barkley, and Christan Caldwell; and many other nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Friday, May 24, 2024 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Minister J.B. Beane officiating. The family received friends prior to the service.
