LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A Public Hearing will be held by the Council of the Town of Christiansburg on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at
7:00 P.M. in the Council Room of the Town Hall, 100 E. Main Street, Christiansburg, Virginia for the purpose of
discussing the Proposed Budget for FY 2025-26.
The real estate and personal property tax rates will remain the same at 14 cents per $100 of assessed value and
45 cents per $100 of assessed value, respectively. Solid waste (garbage) pickup will remain the same at $23 per
month for Town Residence and $46 per month for Outside of Town. Water rates are proposed to increase by $1
