County-Blacksburg golf tournament.
The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery County-Blacksburg will hold its 23rd Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 7, at Auburn Hills Golf Club, route 8 toward Riner, and invites players as well as sponsors to take part in the event.
This four player Captain’s Choice starts at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. Players may register as a team or as an individual and be placed on a team. Entry fees are $100 per golfer or $400 per team, which includes cart and green fees. Mulligans may be purchased as well as 50/50 raffle tickets. Lunch will be provided as well as many great prizes awarded. Hole sponsorships include: $100 single hole, $200 9 hole, $300 18 hole, and $500 event sponsor.

Montgomery Co.-Blacksburg Kiwanis supports purchase of playground equipment and supporting the arts, music, and physical education at one elementary school, supply parents of newborn and young kids with ID kits, purchase books for pre-school children at 10 schools, gifts for 40 Salvation Army Christmas Angels and ringing the Salvation Army bell, contributes to Montgomery County Social Services child abuse and child care, Montgomery County Christmas Store, Scouts BSA, assist with Special Olympics, and sponsors Key Club at Blacksburg High School, and Circle K at Virginia Tech.
