George Robert Puckett, 83, of Dublin, passed away at his home Sunday, May 11, 2025. Born Jan. 10, 1942, he was preceded in death by his parents, George William and Dorris Ayers Puckett; his wife, Dixie Dillon Puckett; two brothers; a sister; and his beloved grandsons, Brian and Michael.
Survivors include his daughters, Becky Bugg and Sarah Linkous; son, Eugene Puckett; stepsons, Bobby Dillon and Stephen Dillon; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; the mother of his children, Nancy Blair; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and an abundance of friends.
The family received friends Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Dublin Church of God in Dublin. Funeral services followed with Pastor Adam Frye officiating. Burial followed in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice. The Puckett family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
