The Rotary Club of Blacksburg will hold its 24th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on Monday, June 9, at Blacksburg Country Club.
All proceeds from the tournament go to the local Rotary Foundation that supports community projects throughout the New River Valley. Local support goes to the Montgomery County Christmas Store, the Women’s Resource Center of the NRV, Community Health Center of the NRV, Interfaith Food Pantry, scholarships to seniors in Montgomery County Schools and more organizations.
Players are invited to join the four player Captain’s Choice to support Rotary projects.
The agenda is as follows: 11 a.m. check in begins, 11 a.m. -start range practice, 11:30 a.m. -lunch, 1 p.m. shotgun start and 6 p.m.- awards/reception.
Registration for the tournament includes one mulligan per player, 18 holes of golf, greens and cart fee, lunch, after play snacks and an award ceremony. Registration for a team is $600 or individual is $150. Hole sponsorships are available for $150 per hole.
Anyone interested in playing in the tournament or being a sponsor, payments are due by May 31, 2025 and can be mailed to the Foundation of the Rotary Club of Blacksburg, PO Pox 770, Blacksburg, VA 24063.
