The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce invites community members to design the cover of its 2026 Member Magazine.

The contest is open to all residents of Montgomery County, Va. The theme is Celebrating Montgomery County’s 250th Anniversary. Artwork should highlight the county’s landscapes, architecture, or other meaningful places/items that represent the history and community. Submissions must be received by Jan. 23, 2026. Digital artwork only. Submit as a PDF or vector file at 300 DPI resolution. All entries must be sent to marketing@montgomerycc.org.

Artwork guidelines:

Final cover size will be 8.5 in. wide by 11 in. tall. Please add an extra 0.5 in. bleed on all sides, making your full canvas 9.5 in. wide by 12 in. tall.

Keep important details (such as text, faces, or landmarks) at least 0.5 in. away from the edge so nothing is cut off in printing.

You do not need to add the Chamber’s logo, title, or text. The Chamber will place these later.

All artwork must be original. No AI-generated, copied, or plagiarized work will be accepted.

Prizes and recognition:

The winning artwork will be featured on the cover of the 2026 Member Magazine.

The winner will receive a certificate of recognition, and their name will be printed inside the magazine.

All appropriate entries will be displayed in the digital version of the magazine.

By submitting artwork, artists give the Chamber permission to use the artwork in print, digital, and promotional contexts.

Each submission must include the artist’s name and address in Montgomery County and artist’s signature for permission.

Please contact a.waters@montgomerycc.org for further questions and entries.
