Draft PCB TMDL Action
Plan Available for Public
Review and Comment
Notice is hereby given that
Montgomery County has
prepared a Draft
Polychlorinated Biphenyl
(PCB) Total Maximum Daily
Load (TMDL) Action Plan in
accordance with the
requirements of the
Municipal Separate Storm
Sewer System (MS4)
Permit.
The draft plan focuses on
reducing PCB pollution in
stormwater within the New
River watershed. It details
the County’s proposed
strategies and best
management practices
consistent with the Waste
Load Allocations assigned
to the County’s MS4.
The draft document is
available for public review
beginning April 10 through
April 29 and may be
accessed at the following
location(s):

•A hard copy of this draft
will be available for the
public at the Montgomery
County Government Center
in the General Services
Department.
•Written comments will be
accepted during the public
comment period and should
be submitted no later than
April 29, 2026, through the
online form or by emailing

ountyva.gov
•All comments received will
be considered prior to
finalizing the PCB TMDL
Action Plan.
