Annual Action Plan

for the HOME Investment Partnership Program and Community Development Block Grant Program

The Town of Blacksburg and the New River Valley HOME Consortium (NRVHC) invite public

comment on the 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan for the HOME Investment Partnership Program

grant and the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The Annual Action Plan

describes planned allocation of Town CDBG funding and NRVHC plans for affordable housing

development in the NRV from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

A 30-Day public comment period on the Annual Action Plan will begin April 13,2026 and end on May 14, 2026 at 5:00 PM.

A public hearing on the draft of the Annual Action Plan will be held May 11, 2026 at 5:00 PM at

104 Draper Road and virtually on May 12, 2026

at 12:00 pm.
