By the Board of Supervisors of the County of Montgomery, Virginia that the Board of Supervisors hereby schedules a public hearing for Monday, July 13, 2026 at 7:15 pm or as soon thereafter, at the Montgomery County Government Center, 755
Roanoke Street, Christiansburg, Virginia, in order to receive citizen comments on the Board of
Supervisors intent to adopt a resolution amending the FY 2026-2027 Budget by more than one percent of the total expenditures shown in the currently adopted budget by adding carryover funding appropriated in FY 26 for county ARPA funds, donations and grant funds,
encumbrances, earmarked and one-time county projects, county capital funds balances and
encumbrances that were not completed at year end, and school capital balances and encumbrances, not to exceed $79 million.
