With a big crowd lining both sides of downtown Main Street Wednesday night, Christiansburg High School celebrated homecoming 2022 with a parade that featured music from the CHS Marching Band; sharp, synchronized marching from the CHS Cadet Corps; shaking pom poms from the school’s cheerleaders; homecoming court members; and various athletic teams from football to wrestling and volleyball. They were all part of the night’s fun that came complete with any number of convertibles, flatbed trailers, and floats. The parade began at 7 p.m. and traversed the length of Main Street, beginning at the post office and ending at Burger King.
